MINI SAUSAGE PUFFS
A great recipe to make with the kids. Sausages are rolled in a mustard seasoned puff pastry and baked to perfection. They are ideal for party nibbles.
*2 sheets frozen puff pastry
*1 beaten egg
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Cut each pastry sheet in half lengthways, then cut both smaller rectangles into eight equal sections. You now have 16 rectangles in total.
Spread mustard onto each rectangle. Roll the sausage up in the pastry to enclose and repeat with remaining pastry, mustard and sausages. Brush tops with egg.
Place, seam side down, on tray.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until sausages are cooked through and pastry is golden.
