SLOW COOKER ROSEMARY GARLIC BREAD

‪SLOW COOKER ROSEMARY GARLIC BREAD‬

Ingredients :

*1 ½ cups lukewarm water
*½ Tb yeast
*½-¾ Tb kosher salt
*3 ¼ cups flour
*2 garlic cloves, minced
*2 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
*2 tbsp olive oil

 

 

Directions:

In a small bowl mix olive oil, garlic and rosemary leaves together.
In a large mixing bowl, combine water and yeast. Stir in the olive oil mixture.
Add in the flour and mix together into a wet, shaggy dough.  Let rise, covered for 2 hours in a warm place.
Form the dough into a ball and place it on a sheet of parchment paper.
Lift the loaf by the parchment and set it in the middle of the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker with its lid.
Turn on your slow cooker to the highest heat setting.
Bake  2 ½ hours. ( Baking time will vary depending on your slow cooker )
If a darker-colored, crustier loaf is desired, set the loaf on a rack positioned in the middle of the oven and turn on the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes. Check frequently to avoid burning the loaf.

Let the loaf cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
