This broccoli beef recipe is quick and easy. Meat is tender and has lots of delicious broccoli in the mix.
*¼ cup all-purpose flour
*1 can beef broth
*1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
*2 tbsp soy sauce
*500g flank steak , sliced thinly against the grain
*2 tbsp olive oil
*¼ tsp chopped fresh ginger root
*1 clove garlic, minced
*4 cups chopped fresh broccoli
*Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
In a small bowl, combine flour, broth, sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until sugar and flour are dissolved.
In a large skillet over high heat add 2 tbsp of olive oil , cook and stir beef until browned.
Stir in broth mixture, ginger and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer until sauce thickens. When sauce is thick and beef tender add the broccoli. Cook for 5 min more.
Serve broccoli beef with rice.
