Ginger Shots

Ginger shot benefits range from providing powerful wellness support to soothing everyday digestive distress. A ginger shot could help to soothe an upset stomach, counter occasional bouts of everyday nausea, and support balanced metabolism from day to day.

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh ginger root, washed and chopped

2 tablespoons chopped turmeric root (or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder)

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup fresh orange juice

1 tbsp honey

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture over a fine-mesh sieve into a small pitcher or glass bottle and store in the fridge.

You can always double this recipe and save the remaining ginger shots for up to one week in a sealed container in the fridge.
