Ingredients

Salad:

2-3 tomatoes
2 cucumbers
1 small red onion
250g  Greek feta cheese.
1 cup Kalamata Olives
1 green bell pepper, (optional)

Greek Salad Dressing:

1 tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp red wine vinegar
6 tbsp Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

To prepare a classic Greek salad, start by mixing all the Greek Salad Dressing ingredients in a jar. Shake well to combine, then let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables: cut the tomatoes into wedges, then slice each wedge into smaller pieces.

Slice the cucumbers and bell peppers into thick rounds, and peel and thinly slice the red onion. If you prefer, leave the onion in rings or cut it in half before slicing.

Dice the feta into small cubes.

In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, feta, and olives. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat.

Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
