HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSINGS

Making salad dressing from scratch is nearly as fast and easy as shaking up a store-bought bottle, and the taste is phenomenally better than even the most “gourmet” jar of blue cheese dressing.

It’s easier, though, to quit buying bottled dressings when you don’t even need to consult a recipe before shaking up tonight’s salad.

 

 

 

– EGG-LEMON . GREEK AVGOLEMONO

*2 eggs
*Juice of 2 lemons

 

– STRAWBERRY DRESSING

*1 cup Olive Oil

*1 cup strawberries, quartered

*2 tbsp Honey

*2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar

*1 tsp salt

*1 tsp pepper

*¼ tsp tarragon

 

– BASIL VINAIGRETTE

*1 cup Olive Oil

*1/3 cup Apple cider vinegar

*2 tbsp fresh basil

*3 fresh garlic cloves

*2 tbsp honey

 

– MANDARIN DRESSING

*¼ cup Balsamic vinegar

*¼ cup orange juice

*½ cup Olive Oil

*1 tbsp poppy seeds

*1 tbsp Dijon mustard

*Pinch of salt

 

– OLIVE OIL & LEMON DRESSING

*1 cup fresh lemon juice

*½ cup Olive Oil

*4 cloves garlic, chopped

*2 tsp salt

*½ tsp pepper

 

– YOGURT & HONEY DRESSING

*3 tbsp Greek yogurt

*¼ cup Balsamic vinegar

*2 tbsp Olive Oil

*1 tbsp Dijon mustard

*1 ½ tbsp Honey

*1 tbsp soy sauce

 

– OLIVE OIL ORANGE DRESSING

*1/3 cup Olive Oil

*1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

*¼ tsp chopped garlic

*½ tsp fresh thyme

*Orange zest

*Salt – Pepper to taste

    Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
