CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE WITH BROWNIE CRUST

Ingredients:
*1 cup butter
*1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
*½ cup white sugar
*2 eggs
*1 cup all-purpose flour
*½ teaspoon baking powder
*¼ teaspoon salt
*454 g / 16 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
*1 cup granulated sugar
*1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*3/4 cup heavy cream
*1 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 180 C. Line your round pan with parchment paper.
Melt the butter and chocolate together over low heat in a medium saucepan.
Remove from heat and add the sugar. Stir well.
Add the eggs and vanilla, stirring until it’s smooth.
Add chocolate chips, flour and salt. Stir until well blended.
Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan, and bake for 25 min.
Cool completely in pan.
Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the cream cheese and sugar until blended and smooth. Mix in the vanilla.
Using an electric mixer with a whisk attachment, beat the cream at medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Transfer the filling to cooled crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
