HOMEMADE ALMOND MILK
The health benefits of almond milk include the improvement of vision, weight loss, stronger bones and a strong, healthy heart. It helps in building strong muscles, maintaining ideal blood pressure and maintaining a properly-functioning kidney.

Ingredients:
*1 cup whole raw almonds
*3.5 cups water (plus more water for soaking)
*½ tsp vanilla (optional)
Directions:
Cover almonds in water and soak overnight. (or cover in boiling water and soak for an hour)
Drain almonds, add to blender. Add 3.5 cups water and blend until almonds are finely blended.
Strain in nut bag, jelly strainer or fine mesh sieve.
Stir in flavors ( honey, sugar, Maple syrup) if desired. Refrigerate and enjoy within 3 days.
