Spiced Nuts

SPICED NUTS

Ingredients:
*3 cups nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts)

*1 tbsp coconut sugar

*1 tsp sea salt

*½ tsp cinnamon

*¼ tsp nutmeg

*1/8 tsp cloves

*½ tsp cayenne pepper

*3 tbsp water

*1 tbsp honey

*1 tbsp olive oil

 

 

Directions:
In a Skillet on medium heat toast the nuts for about 6 minutes or until fragrant.
Set nuts aside.

Mix the spices and coconut sugar together.
In the skillet heat the water, honey and olive oil until it starts to bubble.

Add the nuts and cook until all liquid is evaporated then turn heat off and add the spices.

Spread nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350 F.
