Lemonates patates / Greek Lemon Potatoes





Lemon potatoes are a common side to many Greek dishes. 

Crispy on the outside, tender and soft on the inside, with a delicious lemony flavor , baked to perfection !! 

They’re so delicious and so easy to make.







*1.2 kg potatoes, cut into large wedges 

*1/2 cup Olive oil

*1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

*1 1/2 tbsp dried oregano

*2 cloves garlic, minced 

*1 tsp mustard 

*2 tsp salt 

*1/2 tsp pepper 






Preheat oven to 180C/350-377F. 

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil with lemon juice, minced garlic, mustard and oregano and season generously with salt and pepper.

Place the potato wedges in a baking sheet, pour the lemon garlic sauce over and toss together until all potatoes are evenly coated in lemon garlic sauce.

Once everything is mixed together, transfer potatoes to baking sheet and place baking sheet in oven. 

Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and let cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
