The dough comes together quickly with yogurt and butter, creating a tender and flavorful shell that pairs beautifully with the simple feta filling.

250 grams Greek yogurt
250 grams melted butter
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
520 to 550 grams all purpose flour, enough to form a soft dough
Filling
600 grams feta cheese
2 eggs
1 tablespoon yogurt
2 eegg yolks for brushing
Directions
Place the yogurt and melted butter in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
The butter should be warm, not hot.
Add the eggs and salt and mix well.
Add half of the flour and the baking powder and mix. Slowly add the remaining flour and knead until the dough becomes soft and pliable.
Roll out a portion of the dough to about half a centimeter thickness. Use a glass or wide cup as a cutter to create round discs.
Place one teaspoon of filling in the center of each disc and fold to seal the edges tightly.
Arrange the cheese pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with beaten egg before baking.
Continue the process until all the dough is used. You will get approximately 60 to 70 pieces.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes, until golden.
